Types of links and their importance in SEO

Outbound link

  • Outbound links are those links on your website that link out to websites with a different domain name.
  • Outbound links are links that point from your website to another.
  • They are often used within the content to add more context and to link a reader to another source that will add additional and important information to the topic at hand.
  • For Example, Site A links to Site B. Site A’s link to Site B is an outbound link from Site A.
  • Outbound links increase the relevance of your website, especially when it comes to search engine algorithms.
